JAPAN SPARTAN RACE

Spartan Race is the world's best obstacle course race, with over 240 races in 30 countries around the world this year. Spartan Race is not your everyday running race - expect to run, climb, push, pull, throw and crawl through walls, hills, trees, mud, barbed wire and other challenging but fun obstacles.

ARRIVAL

Racers should arrive at least 90 minutes before their scheduled heat times in order to have sufficient time to find parking, complete registration, check- in their bags at the bag tent and get warmed up for the race.

PARKING

1,000 JPY per car for parking in the venue. Please note that parking space is limited and will be first come first serve.

WHAT TO WEAR

There’s no dress code, but you’ll be running in mud and water, climbing hills and mountains, under barbed wire and jumping fire.

Our elites recommend: performance gear (NOT COTTON), water packs, compression underwear, energy bars and gels.

WHAT TO BRING

BAG DROP

Bag Drop will be 500 JPY per bag (40L), and limited to one bag per racer. All Bag Drop items MUST fit inside a single bag. No other bags will be accepted.Group changing tents, and outdoor/cold water showers will be available onsite. Food, drinks and a ton of great Spartan merchandise will also be available for purchase in the Festival Area.

HEAT TIMES

Preferred wave timings is subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis during registration, and waves are flagged off every 15 minutes. All category racers can check on the website a week before Race Day to confirm their exact heat times. Once a wave time is sold out, no more racers will be able to add to it. Please understand that this is for safety reasons, and also to preserve the racer experience. If you would like to race with your friends, remember to form a team.

TICKET TRANSFERS

You can transfer your ticket to another person anytime up until 14 days before Race day (unless event is sold out, for an administration fee of 3000 yen per transfer.

Spectator entry is 3,000 JPY to view and support Spartans at this Race. As a spectator, you will have access to the rocking Festival Area with "up close and personal" viewing of some of the biggest, baddest obstacles on the course, as well as the epic Finish Line. But that's not all - we've got music, hands-on obstacle challenges, and local food/beverage vendors available throughout the day.
